all of our dresses are made-to-order, we accept returns for store credit only within 14 days of delivery on all full priced, standard sized dresses via our Returns Portal.
your store credit can be used to order another size, style, or future purchase with one addington.
we do not offer refunds for change of mind on made-to-order items. if you would like to try our dresses before you purchase, please book a try-on appointment here.
return eligibility
due to the delicate nature of our fabrics and the light tones of many of our garments, we operate a strict inspection policy on all returns to ensure each piece remains in perfect condition.
to be eligible for a return, items must be:

in original, pristine, unworn condition and suitable for resale

neatly packed, returned with all tags, original packaging and materials intact

unaltered and free from any damage
- returned within 14 days of delivery
we kindly ask that all dresses are tried on in your home, in a clean environment and while freshly showered, without makeup, fake tan, perfume, deodorant or body products that may transfer onto the fabric.
any signs of wear, marking, staining, transferred products, odours, damage, or use beyond a careful home try-on may result in the return being refused.
where a return does not meet these standards, we reserve the right to reject the return and send the item back to you. by purchasing from our store, you acknowledge and accept these terms.
returns process
to begin a return, please submit a request within 14 days of delivery here.
once your return has been submitted, you must return your order within 14 days. returns sent outside of this timeframe will not be accepted.
please make sure you’ve included the return note with your name & order number inside the parcel.
once submitted, you will be responsible for arranging return shipping. we recommend using a tracked and insured service, as we are unable to take responsibility for items lost or damaged in transit.
all returns are subject to strict inspection upon arrival before your store credit is approved.
if a return does not meet our requirements, it may be refused and sent back to you.
non-returnable items
the following items are strictly non-returnable and non-refundable:

items made to custom measurements

items altered from their original standard design, including but not limited to length adjustments, removal of train, added lining, or any bespoke modification

bespoke or custom orders made at the customer’s request
- items that were purchased at a discount during a sale
by placing an order for a custom or altered item, you acknowledge and agree that the item is non-returnable and non-refundable.
exchanges
we do not offer exchanges.
if you wish to change your size or style, you must return your item in accordance with this policy for store credit and place a new order.
faulty items
if you believe your item is faulty, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with a description and supporting imagery.
all items must be returned to us for assessment before any resolution can be offered.
as our pieces are bias cut and made from delicate fabrics, natural variations in drape, fit and movement are to be expected and do not constitute a fault.
where an item is confirmed to be faulty, we will offer a repair, replacement or refund as appropriate.
additional information
return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.
original shipping costs, duties and taxes are non refundable.
items purchased via sample sales are final sale and are not eligible for return, refund, or store credit.
once your return has been received and approved following inspection, your store credit will be processed within 2 - 4 working days.
